Oh hey guys. Bet you thought we forgot all about this. Well, lucky, or maybe unlucky, for you, we didn't. Between three of us working and traveling things have been a little crazy. Plus, with so many of the items on the list requiring outside supplies, we figured we should shop for lots of materials first. So, we've gone on a couple shopping excursions and gathered most of the supplies we'll need. And, for those of you counting, I know today isn't actually Day 28, Day 28 was actually two days ago, but this is the first I've been able to post, and, it would seem the guys haven't gotten a chance to post either..."forgotten" I suppose. Just kidding. HOPEFULLY they'll post asap :). Anyways, back to Day 28: Fourth of July cookout, on the Fifth. Yeah, I know, we're pretty cool. So, we really wanted to knock several items off the list because we hadn't done anything in a while, so let's start with the big one,
89. Not keen on all the traveling? Have a
potluck instead. Well, we didn't have an actually potluck, deciding that a cookout is close enough. Everyone came over to my house, including some other friends as well. We cooked hot dogs on the fire and did number
27. Microwave
s'mores. Or
peanut butter s'mores. We actually didn't micromave them. Since we had a fire we just roasted marshmellows on the fire!! Delicious :) Before all the eating of food though, we did number
13. Get some friends together and play
blindman's bluff. This was pretty fun to start with, but after a couple rounds we were ready for something else. It did make for some hilarious pictures.

We wrapped up of evening of doing things from the list with number
79. Build edible cookie houses with cookie wafers, candy and frosting. Customize them for upcoming holidays. Christmas has gingerbread houses, so why shouldn't Labor Day or Thanksgiving have houses too? We made a lovely 4th of July house. It actually turned out pretty epic, but all of us icing and sticking cookies together at once made for a huge mess! The guys insisted trying to make a guy with a machine gun to put in house and when I tried to stop it, their response was "How do you think we got our independence?" Touche guys, touche. Not that a Twizzler is much of a machine gun...

To end the evening, we brought back telephone pictionary, because it's so fun and because we couldn't wait to see how it would get distorted this time, with four more people playing! Let me tell you, nine people playing telephone pictionary makes for some pretty funny interpretations. Anyways, hopefully we'll be getting together soon to do some more stuff, bye for now!!
